I feel like Adley shouldn't be taking close pitches when he knows McCann is running.  Or maybe don't run McCann, knowing Adley is likely to take close pitches.

Adley knows the strikezone as well as anyone in the game and the pitch was outside. Clearly. But as you said, with the incompetence of umpires today, you just can't assume its going to be called a ball.

I came across this back in July.  Adley has(had) at the time 50 out of zone pitches incorrectly called as strikes against him which was tops in the majors.

They do.  I think the Orioles are getting there.  The Astro's are a veteran team that takes advantage of everything.

I think the umps are looking for the tag and when the tag comes on the ankle it is hard to see if the players hits the bag first.

McCann has been good at the plate the last week or two.  He is playing a lot and that has to help.

Yeah, if it's not Kremer, then I think the options for the 7th are Perez, Webb, Fuji, or Krehbiel.  Or Cano or Bautista could go more than 1 each.  Not a lot of good looking options there.

A pivotal one too, as Kremer has been prone to losing it late in an outing when runners get on. Just huge and great call by the 1B ump there. Dusty knee jerk challenged, and Dave Johnson thought he was out too before seeing the replay. So good job ump on that one.
