I feel like Adley shouldn't be taking close pitches when he knows McCann is running.  Or maybe don't run McCann, knowing Adley is likely to take close pitches.

I always thought umps gave nicer strike zones to catchers since they establish a relationship with them but Adley has completely proven that wrong this year. He seems to get screwed every day.

One of the things (huge things) Holt needs to work on with the entire staff is how to setup hitters like that: adjusting eye levels and not being afraid to back hitters off the plate.
