I caught a few innings of him on the mound and what impressed me was how his breaking stuff just fell off a table. He had Blue Jays hitters tied up in knots when he threw it. Easily the best breaking stuff on the team already. It just had a different bite to it.
I would argue for Bradish’s slider or Rodriguez’s changeup when they’re on but that curveball was certainly working wonders yesterday. As was the cutter.
