Colton Cowser is currently hitting .106? I didn't think it was quite that bad. That's not the Mendoza Line; that's Ray Oyler territory.

He's been pitcher bad. Or Mateo May/June bad. I think he should get about three or four more weeks of regular time to try and get going. If Ced is back sooner than that, then maybe it'll be less especially if it stays this bad and not start ticking up at least a little to just normal bad territory.
The walks and Ks have really gotten bad too. First week plus he was drawing a good number of walks and not striking out, so it wasn't too frustrating that he wasn't getting hits. Last week plus though its tons of Ks and few walks. I still think it'll click soon, and willing to wait a few more weeks trying it out.

Can't wait for Mullins/Hicks to get back.
You can't keep an automatic out in lineup.

Why not? We've had one all season except for April when Mateo was actually hitting. I think there is reason to expect Cowser to improve. Once its been too long then pull the plug and send him down to refresh, but I'm not close yet. I'd give him a run like Grayson got. Eventually had to make a move, but long trial period.

The only reason I'm not worried at all is because he does the same exact thing at every level other than when he went from Aberdeen to Bowie.

Anybody know where Kevin Brown is? He's been gone for a while. Vacation?
He's been doing radio for some reason.

He hasn't brought anything to the table and he has had a bit of an extended run.
At least Mateo plays good defense.

Maybe he's got a canker sore or something.

That's fine.
I wonder if he looked as overmatched as he does right now?
I'm really not worried.
The Orioles have two better options on the IL.

He's made 13 starts. I don't think that's an extended run, or even a bit of one.

Well, he's at least in the middle of one.
I don't think it's unfair to expect a bit more than he's shown.
He's shown nothing.

When you're below the Chris Davis line, things have reached a dark, dark place.
