Cowser hits his first homerun, Orioles win 5-2.
I'll allow it.

Big series for the Orioles, but big series for the Yankees too.
Outside the WC.
Angels buying.
Series loss or swept right before the deadline could (emotionally at least) end their season.
End it.

Grayson always seems to start against a team's best pitcher. Too bad he can't have more leeway to relax a little. He's definitely going to have to have his best stuff and probably can't give up more than 3 runs. Big time advantage- New York.
Not a lot of bums in his 13 starts so far (including tonight against Cole).

The Yankees offense is atrocious, though. Grayson could do well.
Judge is possibly back tonight. Apparently they're not gonna send him on a rehab assignment.

My prediction RE: Judge is he won’t be anywhere near himself the rest of the way. This is a desperation move. They’re rushing him and it’s pretty obvious.
If he's 250 OPS points worse than usual, then he's still an 850ish OPS bat. Crazy how good he's been the last couple years.

I'm not scared, is the point. I don't think you are either, but just saying. Screw the Yankees and any circumstances or permeations which have people intimidated in any way right now. Their time has passed.

If Judge is activated tonight, the game plan should be to pitch him inside with a healthy diet of breaking balls down and in.

Wild to say this in July but with the schedule realignment this is the final Yankees series of the year

Not terribly scared of Judge after he hasn't seen live game action in 2 months, but if he plays I wouldn't be shocked to see him hit a couple out this weekend. Dude kills us no matter what. Don't let the other guys beat you.
Pitch him inside (off the plate). No reason to let him beat you, plus he’s got to be fearful of fouling a pitch off his foot.
