I have both on one of my fantasy teams. I haven't started Severino the last game or two and will not tonight because the Orioles are going to knock him out.

Think it’s safe to drop Severino based on the injury he was returning from and his underlying numbers. Go grab Skubal if he’s still available, Mike. Or even Detmers.
I tried, both are gone.

There is no way Hicks is better defensively than Mullins.

Hicks playing CF while giving Mullins a night at DH doesn't say that he is.
Mullins just came off the IL with the groin injury. Maybe giving him a night off from the field helps protect him a little bit.

Yeah its fine giving Mullins a night off in the field. Ill also note that Hicks seems more comfortable in CF vs the corners. So while Cowser is probably the best guy to give Mullins a night off in the field it.maybe best to just go with this alignment vs putting Hicks in a corner spot.

I really like this lineup.
I'd rather see Henderson at 3B, Westburg at 2B and Mateo at SS, all offensive futility aside. I still think that consistently gives them the best chance to win.

Yup but seemingly the ship has sailed on Mateo at SS vs RHP. They seem to want to give Henderson a long look there. I dont like it but it is what it is

He's been hot in NY, but was definitely going through a rough stretch before that. Has a .538 OPS past 15 days. I'm fine with them riding his hot bat as long as they can, but I'd be shocked of his OPS stays above .800 by seasons end. Still- ride that hot stick as long as we can.

Just don't see Henderson developing into a top shelf fielder at SS, whereas I can definitely see him shine at 3B. But hell, what do I know?

Yikes.
Since May 1st Mateo has a wRC+ of 1. A .376 OPS in over 2 months.
What happened? How can you be that good for a month, then just like that, nothing?

Ugh. I dont want to be rational about Mateo though. I know his D and speed doesnt make up for the above but it just hurts

Saying this I still need it to be Ortiz though. Said that in the other thread. Frazier or Urias offensively are not worth the downgrade to Gunnar defensively at SS
