Uh...Marquette is slapping Kansas across the face.

Jay Bilas is ticked off, but it tickles my fancy.

GO MARQUETTE!

The new ACC/ SEC Challenge begins tonight replacing the Big Ten/ ACC Challenge that was always a lot of fun. Here are some predictions

-Mississippi State over Georgia Tech

-Syracuse over LSU

-South Carolina over Notre Dame

-Pittsburgh over Missouri

-Kentucky over Miami

-NC State over Ole Miss

-Clemson over Alabama

-Texas A&M over Virginia

-Tennessee over North Carolina

-Wake over Florida

-Florida State over Georgia

-Auburn over Va Tech

-Boston College over Vandy

-Arkansas over Duke in the grand finale.

I have a 7-7 draw! Can't wait for these games to start up tonight!

There weren't many teams in the country that had a more impressive feast week despite the loss to Purdue. Unreal what Shaka Smart has done in only two plus years since taking over the program. This is really the perfect fit for him.

Wish I disagreed with this, but unfortunately I don't. Tennessee is tough and physical, and at the moment, the Heels are not.

Bacot was awful in the Bahamas, though overall the team played really well, going 2-1. He needs to bring it tonight if they're going to have any chance, but I'm not betting on it.

Good double header tonight in the ACC/SEC challenge.

I'd like to see the ACC/Big 10 challenge make a come back in the future  -- have Stanford and Cal play the West Coast teams -- works a tad better.

Glad to have been wrong about this!

That first half was one of the best in recent memory for Carolina.

Just not very good this year IMO. Effectively it is a literal brand new team, with only one player (Desmond Claude) returning from last season.

Long way to go, but Ed Cooley and the Hoyas have showed up to play tonight against undefeated TCU. Excited about the future of this program.

Also, Oregon just drained a deep 3 with a little over a second left in OT to take down Michigan at home. You love to see it. A freshman from Oregon hit the game winner. Great moment.

Mere days after annihilating #8 Miami at home - Kentucky falls to UNC Wilmington (KP144), also at home.

Crazy day of college hoops. Drexel beat #18 Villanova and #3 Marquette lost to Wisconsin.

And for those of you needing some joy in your hearts on this early December Saturday evening - #7 Duke lost to Georgia Tech (Duke's 2nd loss this week against an unranked team). Gotta love it. Scheyer did a good enough job with K's talent last year, but if this year goes off the rails, I legitimately wonder how long the Cameron Crazies will put up with him. I can't imagine he's got a terribly long leash. And schools would be wise to learn from Georgetown as to what can happen when you strictly stay within your previous legend's coaching tree for too long.

This Georgetown game has been great. Epps, a Virginia native who went to Illinois in his freshman year last season, and who Cooley convinced to come home for him this season, has been the best player on the court. Balling out. Must be nice.

TCU with a circus fade away 3 to win by 1 at the buzzer. What a heartbreaker. TCU will be ranked.

This may get overturned - looks like Emmanuel’s foot was OOB on the sideline. Officials reviewing it now.

Refs are saying they can’t overturn it procedurally. Review is totally pointless. What a F job of all F jobs. Dude was blatantly OOB.

That’s a top 5 review blunder. Terrible. Georgetown got jobbed. They aren’t able to review an OOB call that wasn’t made live. So insanely stupid.

Yeah, Gtown got hosed.  The courtside fans were all pointing to the baseline as the shot was occurring, and the ref wasn't even looking. completely ignored where the shooter's feet were.  And then the TCU player heaves a prayer of a shot, and it goes off the backboard and in!  That game was a classic ruined by the inept ref.  Anyway, HAHA Hoyas!
