Count me among those with very low expectations. Didn't think George Lucas would have sold out, but everyone has their price, and for $4 Billion he can build his own Death Star.

Where does it say a film is planned for 2015?

"Do I want to see more Star Wars movies? Not really, but they're not making these movies for me. There's a whole new generation of Star Wars fans, and they worship the prequels like folks my age worshipped the original trilogy," the film writer "Mr. Beaks" said on the well-regarded industry site Ain't It Cool News.

Well that's just not true.

I guess the next question is: What is this movie? Is it a sequel about the New Republic? Another prequel to fit in-between the present six movies? Something based on one or some of the books written in that universe?

Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future.

They're making episodes 7, 8, and 9 for 2015, 2017, and 2019 respectively. I'm cautiously optimistic. I would've had no faith in Lucas. Disney gives all of their projects a level of quality and respect.

I read books that supposedly were episodes 7-9. It was a long time ago but I think I remember Han and Leia having twins or something. The director and cast should say a lot about the direction.

Disney is going to clean up on this and Marvel.

When I was in Disney, I wondered why there was so much Star Wars stuff. It was everywhere.

I bet they do a great job.

They pretty much own the male gender at this point. Not to mention Pixar. They're a good company.

I can't help but envision them discussing a Star Wars theme park, whether that ties in with one of the kingdoms in Disney World FL or on its own.

Something like Harry Potter world.

It's just too easy, right!? So many opportunities.

I have to think they will do a Marvels theme park.

There's one at universal but they could definitely improve on it.

There's a reason why Disney hosts leadership from fortune 500 companies throughout the year to consult on vision, discipline, customer service, etc. They are absolutely the pinnacle when it comes to all of that.

Maybe its just me, but I think a Star Wars theme park would have much more of an appeal than a Marvel one.

WOW! First Marvel and now Lucas Arts!!! Disney is flexing some major money muscles!! I'm pretty excited about this. New Star Wars movies is something great to look forward to and with the way Disney has handled the Marvel films I'm feeling pretty confident about the SW movies as well.

So, where is the new movie taking off from? After ROTJ? Now, there is another sith out there that Luke has to destroy?

It's his great aunt.

Not sure they've stated where/when this will take place. I wouldn't mind seeing a trilogy take place during the KOTR video games, that could be pretty awesome.
