Adrián Beltré
Joe Mauer
Chase Utley
David Wright
Bartolo Colon
Matt Holliday
Adrián González
José Bautista
José Reyes
Victor Martinez
Beltre should be a lock and I have a hard time seeing arguments against Mauer and Utley not getting in eventually as some of the best at their positions during their playing career

Utley doesn't deserve to get in.

Utley doesn't deserve to get in.
Has more fWAR than any other 2B in the 21st century and was part of a Phillies team with 1 WS, 2 pennants and 5 straight division titles, pretty strong combo of individual numbers and being a key part of a team that was a consistent winner, if that's not getting you in then idk what else will for a 2B not named Joe Morgan or Jackie Robinson

Colon should get in just for the HR highlight that continues to delight me to this day.

Beltre, Helton, and Mauer next year.

I just don't know that 5 good/great seasons gets you in. But with baseball getting watered down, who knows anymore. I mean, Rolen before Helton? Pfft.
If we're cool with guys like Rolen and Utley getting in, guys who struggled to stay healthy, then you absolutely have to get Mattingly in there. And take a look at some players from the 70s and 80s who deserve to be in based on the new credentials. Dave Parker, for instance.

Utley doesn't deserve to get in.
Just wrong. And he will get in too. Prob not 1st ballot but he will make it.

Utley won't be getting on a first ballot, but JAWS suggests he'll get in a tick below the average HOF 2B. So yeah, he should get in eventually. Though Willie Randolph and Lou Whitaker both say hi.

As does Bobby Grich.

Still don't know how or why Ortiz got in. Well, I know why, but still.

I know I'm in the minority here, and I respect others opinions, but man, a Hall of Fame without a guy like A Rod seems insane to me.
If the PED thing is so important (I don't think it is), then put something on the plaque or something.

The precedent is set with ARod. Barry Bonds is the greates hitter ever. Ever. And oh he stole 500+ bases and was a good fielder too. When he goes in then it opens the floodgates for some others. Not a single one of these other PED guys get a sniff of anything until you put Barry in first by himself.
Yea, you're spot on. Bonds obviously should be in, Clemens and A Rod too. The fact that they were jerks obviously doesn't help, fair or not.
