Cleveland has really good pitching, which is a challenge for our lineup.

Urias in the 4 hole? I'm putting Stowers in right and Santander at DH in the 4 hole.

Yep, several different iterations available today that would’ve been better than this lineup.
This season is a bonus/improbability. But let’s make sure we don’t develop the young guys who are up here and who will be apart of liftoff in 2023. Sorry Rougy, no offense, but that ain’t you tootz.

I said it tongue in cheek the other day but I really do think Harbaugh taught Hyde about the doghouse. And clearly, Vavra is in it.
Vavra had a rough game defensively but it's not like Odor is the 2nd coming of Robbie Alomar with the glove. I'm sure, given ample opportunity, Vavra could be fine at 2nd base. Certainly, his bat is an upgrade over Odor. I can't imagine the defensive differences are that dramatic.

We have to put the best offensive options out there now even if we sacrifice a little defense. It's hard to win games with excellent defense and 1 hit.

Hyde knows his guys. I completely understand not playing Vavra tbh. Id play Urias at 2b and Stowers in the OF though. Santander at DH
