Well the pitching has been great of late. The question is will it falter before our bats wake up. We can't continue to expect to win getting a handful (shoot or less) of hits per game.

Add Cedric to the list too, but the team is improving in that regard. I watch pitch count closely and the last few weeks we have done a good job driving them up.
I guess Mullins is ok but overall, regardless of driving up pitch count, they need to draw more walks, get on base more and score more runs. The way this pitching staff is going right now, a lot of these games wouldn't even be close if they could just score more frequently. Their collective OBP is lousy.

Palmer does not like the pitch selection.

I guess going to Baker in the 7th inning of a scoreless game is Hyde’s idea of managing it like a playoff game.
he made it sound like it, in his Friday presser.

Told my wife I would have walked Gurriel and had my infield at double play depth. I don't like infield drawn in there at all.

And I trust Palmer. Throwing the cutter when it's his worst pitch.

There was an article recently saying Gurriel can not catch up with the 4 seam fastball. We slowed it down for him.

He's decent. He has his good moments and his bad. He has helped the team this year.
