Welp. I actually agree with Johnson. No problem with Mateo attacking there. Especially since he is so hard to double up.

Gonna be tons of pressure on the game tomorrow now. Gotta get a W (tonight or tomorrow) before heading to Houston. if the O's bats don't turn it on this soon we might find ourselves falling out of the picture.

Every now and then, you lose a game when the ball bounces the wrong way. Last night felt like that to an extent. Down 2-1. Akin in to relieve Baker, and he makes a good pitch with the bases loaded but Sheets winds up beating out an infield hit. . Then the next inning, the White Sox score 2 more, thanks in part to 2 bloop hits. The Orioles did very little at the plate and the game was lost.

Not to mention that shot by Mateo. That might have cleared the bases if it gets through the infield.

True. Mateo scorched that ball and Moncada basically fell on the bag for the first out. Had that gotten down in the corner, Hay's blast may have been a walk off.
That said, Old Man Larussa probably gets some credit. They were playing no doubles defense there and it paid off.
