Didn't realize until checking their stats earlier today just how awful Moncada has been this season. Even the studs sometimes struggle.

Related, when LaRussa walked out to talk to the ump I said to a WSox fan that rather than coming out of the dugout, it looked like LaRussa came out of the crypt.

Cease is now dialed in, but has thrown 72 pitches through 4. Just need a few more quality AB’s to get him out of there.
Voth allows a double to Robert to lead off the top of the 5th.

Dammit O's for 4 innings you worked Crease. Now all of a sudden you revert back to free swinging and get two outs on two pitches. You just gave him another inning potentially.
