I'm still trying to figure out if the color commentator is a kid or a woman.
If you are watching on ESPN 2 it is a kid.
ESPN 1 has their normal Sunday Night team.

Oh, ok. Actually for a kid, he's pretty knowledgeable.

Adley is such a good dude
Anone else look at that picture of Adley in that sea of kids and worry about Covid?
Seriously though, this kid has become one of the faces of Baseball in 3 months.

It is an interesting shift in narrative. This season was stated many times by our FO as still rebuilding. That was the justification for doing nothing in the off-season to a 100 loss team. There are some things here that are a result of the building (what’s up Adley?), but the players between the lines deserve ALL the credit for this seasons results IMO. It’s wrong to shift the attention away from what they’ve accomplished, against all odds, to talk about this “look what we’ve built” narrative. That’s BS. That talk can start next year.
I whole heartedly believe 26 guys give it their all every night. All the love in world to those guys, but Elias shouldn’t be tooting his own horn one bit. (Not sure if he is, didn’t read the article). He picked Adley. Any GM could have. He also swapped Mancini for Yusniel Diaz then Brett Phillips….then finally Stowers.
Hard to sell me on “not a probability of making the playoffs” then 3 weeks later when your position in the standings hasn’t changed its “look what we built!”

Love getting to hear from teh players (Hays and Mullins) and it being a shit show with the sound (in mullins' ear)....man, the kids programming is fun...this is what baseball is truly ALL ABOUT!!!!! What a great day watching the players show up, sign autos, be with teh kids, be a kid, slide down the hill, and now play...how fun is this?!
