Now that I got that out of the way, I’m going to be pretty pissed. So many terrible AB’s today, and such a hugely important game for a number of reasons.
I really don’t buy the big game-must win talk, but it feels like the team did.We have not even bruised him today.

The Orioles narrowly avoided franchise history. Since their 1954 inception they have never been involved in a perfect game, for or against. They've been in 13 no-hitters, 6 of them they threw.

Didn't Maddux once throw a complete game on something like 78 pitches? Guy was sick. Didn't even have overpowering stuff....fastball was only upper 80s in his prime.

The Trop has delivered many nightmares for the Orioles. Mateo saved them from the worst. I am glad it was a clean double.
