Holliday being the 3rd prospect on pretty much everyone's radar is simply because he was the 1st overall pick...right? I mean he hasn't done anything to be rated higher than Cowser or Hall.
Edit: BTW, when does Holiday start practicing and playing and at what level, Delmarva, or is that too high for him right now?

Its because of the reasons why he was the #1 overall pick. Holliday absolutely deserves to be rated higher than Cowser and Hall. It's all projection and scouting, and not results, but in the minors that's far more important than stats anyways. If Lee or Berry were the #1 pick, they'd be ranked below Hall and maybe below some combination of Cowser/Mayo/Westburg as well.
Producing as you climb the ladder is important. The guys closer to MLB certainly have a higher floor and more likelihood of earning a promotion (both Hall and Cowser are near 100% to that right now). But Holliday as a #1 overall pick is also pretty close to a certainty to debut at some point (very few #1 picks have ever not made the majors). So the question is more about upside and expectation. I think Holliday clearly has the better overall projection than either Hall or Cowser (you could argue Hall's upside might be higher, but not Cowser, IMO).

He should start in the FCL this week and maybe make it to Delmarva when the FCL season ends. Start next year in either Delmarva or Aberdeen as a 19 year old (all season). He should move quick for a high schooler but he’s still a high schooler.

Told you to put some respect on Ortiz's name. He is clearly top 20.
Amazing what he has done. He was lowish .600s OPS through June. Feels like even into July. Now he is almost .800. Obviously a great glove.
