Chirinos needs to be gone! No excuse for being thrown out on that DP!
Naw. That was hard hit to 3rd and he's an old catcher.

What a stupid decision. Out by what, 5 feet?

Adley had RA at 2B and then got him at 3B. Crazy good throw. Great footwork to avoid the batter.

So I’m down here in rainy Palm Beach Gardens, FL watching the Rays’ broadcast. These announcers are horrible.
On that shallow fly ball to R-CF, both the CF and the RF converged to make the play. The CF stepped in to make the play, but then had to throw against his body to the plate (the ball was about 10-12 feet up the baseline and the catcher had an issue handling the hop). Had the RF made that play, he was lined up to gun it to home. These guys didn’t even raise the issue of the CF stepping in the way of the RF.
Not a peep.

They said here that the CF has a much stronger arm and that's why he caught the ball. He was out by 10 feet but the catcher couldn't hold on to the ball.

He’d have been out by 15 feet had the throw hit the target, but instead it was 10 feet up the line. I think he was so far off with his throw because he was throwing against his body. I mean, I understand the logic, but it wasn’t all that sound.
