Such a strange game for Kremer. Not great stuff, hittable, but yet made big pitches to keep it a game, big ground balls. So he’s battled and hung in there. Yet his 2 runs are both off wild pitches.

I wouldn't let him get pounded if he doesn't have it today. Sometimes you want to see guys fight through not having their stuff... but it's been an encouraging stretch for Kremer.

That's a good example of the value of defense.  Should have been an out but you have a 1B/DH playing CF and they boondoggle it.

 

You don't need to be a GG to make that play, but you can't be bad.

 

I'd like to correct this in that Josh Lowe played a lot of OF in the minors.  I was trying to give him rationale for being bad.  I guess he just isn't a good OFer.

Kinda feels like the Rays are still our daddy’s if I’m being honest. Even though they’re playing them tougher this year. I think they’re right there with Boston and Toronto though.
