In some fairness to the quote, there actually is an angle when it's true.  Palmer (I think) has talked about it in the past....when you get a lead, you adjust your game and get the innings and the win, even if you give up runs that do't matter.  Different in a close Game where you burn hard to keep every run off the board. 

 

However, that clown used used it even when the starter was out of the Game....which is bat shit crazy.

I honestly don’t remember where I first saw that, but I thought it started with Mussina’s first season in NY when he pitched a great game in the playoffs but lost because the Yankee bats sucked that night and someone, who was no doubt salty over Mussina’s departure, said he didn’t have a good game because he didn’t pitch to his run support….which I guess means Bradish had a great game tonight.

three months ago, I couldn't have been less interested in the Orioles but I have found this season to be quite enjoyable thus far.

Dammit, I turned it off after it was 6-2 and Bradish was stinking it up. No way I thought they’d come back and then woke up to that incredible score. What a moron I am! Great come back, this team never gives up and has been the most fun in years!

Youngest son is in town for the weekend so much good stuff this weekend. And since its Memorial Weekend the weather here in Idaho is trash. Its a rule afterall...lol.
