Retrieving a gun and giving it to someone who goes on to commit a murder might not be a crime, but it sure ought not be dismissed with "wrong place at the wrong time." While MD never really had a chance to hire Nate Oats, I'm glad it didn't happen after reading that.
Apparently Miles then gave the gun to another man (Michael Davis, not a UA student) who physically pulled the trigger. So I guess since you can't be an accessory to an accessory to a murder, Miller isn't facing charges.
Oats just released another statement trying to "clarify" his earlier statement. One of those "after I saw how mad everyone was the first time I guess I should say something different" sort of deals.
