LOL, Jim Boeheim's "retirement" was even more awkward than I imagined it could be.

- Lost his last game to one of the coaches he accused of buying its team.

- In the tournament of the conference he never wanted to join.

- And effectively got canned in a press release.

We’ll be saying this about a lot of teams these next few weeks, but where the hell was this Wake team all year long? Great game. Miami was lucky to hold on.

What an unreal sequence here late in the St. John’s Marquette game. Marquette hit a 3 with 26 seconds left to take a 4 point lead. They then foul St. John’s on a 3 point shot and they hit all 3 free throws. They then both exchange turnovers. Marquette turns it over, St. John’s charging down the court with 16 seconds left, give it right back. Fouled Marquette right away, they hit one free throw and it’s a 2 point game with 12.9 seconds remaining.

Where the hell was this St. John’s team all year?

He got more out of VCU than anyone could. He didn't live up to expectations in Texas, but who does?

Speaking of, VCU is pretty damn good this year. Definitely like them to win a game next week depending on the matchup, maybe more. In the 60’s in KenPom but an elite D and an O that’s been hot lately. They may be able to sneak in even if they don’t beat Dayton tomorrow.
