This is more like what we're use to from the O's. Hence, the reason only one person on this board believes in this phantom offer. The O's would be in on every top shelf FA, if they'd be willing to accept well below market rate. I'd buy a Maserati MC20, if they'd be willing to accept Honda Accord money for it.

He just did - Twins for 3/103.5. He becomes the highest paid IFer in baseball with his annual salary.

 

Opt-outs for each of the first two years though. IMO he's going back out on the market next offseason unless he gets hurt or has a really bad year. FA class of SS is terrible for 2022-2023 offseason.

 

Twins pretty much signed him to a 1 year deal if he plays like last year.
