Big game. Win this one, and you start to make things a little interesting again. If they can win this, then the game against MSU on Tuesday becomes pretty interesting as well. If they can win these next 2 they'll be approaching bubble status again I would think. Not there yet, but getting there.
But, gotta win tomorrow first.

Hart did a nice job on Harper Jr. on Tuesday. He seemed gassed at the end of the game, but he kept battling.

The matchups in this game seem to favor Indiana, but maybe Maryland is past the feeling sorry for itself stage, that Turgeon's quitting on them brought, and are beginning to enjoy the game again.

Don’t let yourself go there, it isn’t happening. Sorry, I wish there was an angle, but there’s not, outside of winning the Big Ten tourney or with several unlikely wins in the regular season and a deep run in the BTT. Just isn’t happening with this group.
Highly unlikely, I agree. But if they win the next 2, it starts to get interesting again. I don't really think they'll win the next 2 anyway, but it's much more fun to watch with hope

Remember, Red. Hope is a good thing.

Theoretically if they could finish the Big Ten regular season 11-9, I think they'd probably need 2 wins in the Big Ten Tournament to be on the right side of the bubble.
3-6 entering today, with the 11 remaining Big Ten regular season games being:
Indiana today
Michigan State
@Ohio State
Iowa
@Purdue
@Nebraska
Penn State
@Indiana
Ohio State
Minnesota
@Michigan State
If Ayala and Fatts go on a run, I can squint and see that as plausible.
But given the flux of the team and program right now; it's also plausible (and maybe more likely) that if they were to lose today, they might just fold and really collapse.
I certainly thought they were going down that road (full collapse) after the 2nd half debacle at home vs. Rutgers. So Manning and the players deserve some credit for not folding, and showing some pride the last two games.
Like you said, gotta win first... but is more fun to watch with some hope.

Just looking recent history...
Last year every team 9-11 or better got in
'19-20 no tournament
'18-19 every team 8-12 or better got in
'17-18 13-5 Nebraska did not get in (21-11 overall) next best records were 9-9 and they all missed
'16-17 10-8 Iowa did not get in
'15-16 11-7 Ohio St did not get in, 10-8 Michigan did
