Harbor has cancelled his visit to Georgia. This will come down to Maryland, Michigan, and South Carolina. He was on campus for the second time in two weeks for last night’s basketball game against UCLA.
Also worth noting that Harbor will take an official visit to Georgia this weekend, but won't sign anywhere until February 1st.

There’s a group of South Carolina fans who are trying to organize a boycott of Under Armour because they believe Kevin Plank is actively trying to sabotage their football program by steering recruits and transfers away from Columbia to Maryland lol
And yes, they’re an Under Armour school as well.

4-star EDGE Dylan Gooden (Olney, MD) has committed to Maryland. He's a Good Counsel product, and the son of former MLB pitcher Dwight Gooden. Currently ranked as the 6th-best player in the state. Becomes the second blue-chip pass-rusher to commit to the 2023 class in the last week.
The class currently ranks as the 36th-best in the country, 7th-best in the conference.

This is a great video that just dropped detailing Harbor’s official visit to Maryland. They really did roll out the red carpet for him and his family.Harbor has cancelled his visit to Georgia. Sounds like 4-star OT Oluwatosin Babalade (DeMatha), who just decommitted from South Carolina, has a good chance to flip to Maryland.
Babalade remains the top target to watch for when the early signing period begins tomorrow. There's a chance he sticks with South Carolina, but we saw similar back-and-forth trends when Maryland landed Jaishawn Barham last year. If they land him, they'd be a borderline Top 25 class before Nyckoles Harbor's decision on February 1st.

Babalade has committed back to South Carolina. Barham pulled the last-minute switch on NSD last year so nothing is 100% official, but the Gamecocks got a good one here.

No late drama this year, Babalade officially signed with South Carolina this morning.

Another flip! 4-star EDGE Neeo Avery has signed with Maryland, flipping from Ole Miss. He's a Good Counsel product, and is ranked as the 7th-best player from the state of Maryland.
The 2023 class is now ranked #27 in the country, #5 in the Big Ten.

Is there anyone better than Locksley at flipping blue-chip recruits from big time schools on NSD? Avery joins a long list that includes Rakim Jarrett (LSU), Jaishawn Barham (South Carolina), and Nick Cross (Florida State).

Lots of focus in this class on getting after opposing QBs, especially if they end up with Harbor (though still think he's better suited at TE or a really big WR). Hopefully a couple of these guys pan out and stick around.

If you thought Locksley was done, he's not.
While not official yet, it's widely expected that 4-star LBs Andrew Harris and Michael Harris will also join this class. They're twin blue-chip recruits from Lake Brantley HS in Florida, and decommitted from UCF earlier this week.
With their additions, the class would jump to #23 in the country, and #4 in the Big Ten.

From what I’ve heard, Maryland is recruiting Harbor as a TE.
