Wade's HS teammate, 3-star athlete Derrick Rogers, joined him in verbally committing to MD today. He'll probably be a WR.

Many of the recruits talking about both football, and life after football.
I don't think you are going to see a lot of change / attrition from the current verbals.
I think they are building a nice base with the class and they'll then look to close with a couple select targets.

With those two commitments, Maryland's class currently ranks #42 in the country and #11 in the Big Ten. Note that they have yet to add any blue-chip recruits to the class, and we all know Locksley is good for at least a handful of those every year.
Fontus becomes the second-highest ranked member of the class behind ATH Braeden Wisloski.

I like the base they've added, and I'm pretty sure they'll end up with a Top 25-30 class.

Nykoles Harbor tweeted that he ran a new personal-best 10.21 in the 100m today. At 6’5” 225 lbs he is clearly a freak. Still think with that kind of breakaway speed he’s better suited to be a TE. But if he’s good enough to get there, he’ll make more money in the NFL as an edge rusher.

He had some interesting comments recently about how much he likes Maryland's track program and their head coach. The field might be more level there than I originally thought. It seems like Michigan and LSU are a little ahead in the running for him, but Maryland is still right in the mix.

Interesting. I would have thought his desire to run track would have put MD at a disadvantage, as many of those SEC programs after him also have excellent track programs.
