....and I should add that the spillover affect for this American boy wasn't too bad....LOL

Unfortunately, the best part of the game was the National Anthem “Flower of Scotland” always tugs the heart strings when thousands of Scots fans are singing along!

Lotta talent on the squad, I was surprised to see the result. Che Adams should be starting up top.

Group of Death plays tomorrow. France - Germany is a must watch game.

Hungary and Portugal were scoreless for a long long time. Then Hungary scored but not so fast...offside. The balloon deflated and Portugal turned it up and cruised to a 3-0 victory.
Ronaldo with a brace. Most career goals in Euros. Most career multi goal games in Euros. And closing in on the all time career international goals. Started 5 behind the leader (Ali Daei) and has moved to within 3. Might break that record too this tournament.

Yeah he's kinda ok. Totally changed the dynamic of that match. Feel bad for Denmark. They are in serious trouble to advance.

to win against Croatia! The last game is alive!
England is going to be roasted by the media for their crap play.

Yeah England will get roasted in the media. But what the media just never takes into account are these types of games.
Similar to say Michigan vs Ohio State. One may be just so much better but when rivalry matchups happen the game can go in unexpected ways. And in a low scoring game like soccer weird results happen all the time. Shoot look at the Sweden - Spain game. Spain had 80% of the possession yet Sweden found a way to keep a clean sheet.

Agree, and really all England needed was a tie to advance.

Yes and it what a lot of new or pretty casual fans don't understand about a soccer tournament. Rule #1 is to advance. Shoot sometimes winning your group can actually be a disadvantage to taking second depending on the bracket is setup. Roster management is so critical in these things.

Well the Group of Death just took an interesting turn. Hungary steals a point from France with a 1-1 draw. Really makes the upcoming Portugal - Germany game all the more interesting. Hungary now has a legit chance to advance, in fact this group is pretty open now. Germany really has to get at least a draw today.

67th minute and Portugal just scored. They have scored first and last so far bracketing Germany. The problem for Portugal is that Germany stuffed them for 4 in between!!!

Go Wales. Go Swiss.

Italy takes the group. They have gone over 1000 minutes now without allowing a goal. Stout defense like strong Italian teams of years ago But with a big difference. This team can score. They are dangerous the rest of the way.
Wales also moves forward in second. Good chance that the Swiss will be one of the top 4 3rd place teams too.

Here are the current scenarios on who can advance. Its a bit of a long read. Which is actually a good thing! This tournament has been very competitive and almost every team still has a legit pathway to advance! In fact Turkey (their group finished yesterday) and North Macedonia are the ONLY 2 teams that can't advance. Now even crazier. Essentially every other team has an opportunity to win or take second in their group. This is just so freaking fun!!!

Mancini's got a chance for a Prem title, an FA Cup and a Euros as a manager. Would certainly be a nice little resume.
