From CBS John Breech

itans 34, Ravens 31 “The Titans' biggest weakness on defense is that they have absolutely zero pass-rush. The problem for the Ravens is that Lamar Jackson hasn't shown to be the type of quarterback who can take advantage of that. We've seen guys like Aaron Rodgers and Philip Rivers pick the Titans apart, but that's not how Jackson plays.”

Yet we score 31 points. If we score 31 Lamar and the offense isnt the problem.

Balt Sun: Ravens rookie J.K. Dobbins needed to calm his nerves. So he added an ‘extra dimension.’

I don't think the Ravens defense is anything spectacular but if we score 31 points and lose, that's beyond inexcusable.  For the Ravens to win, I feel pretty confident that 30 points does the trick.

Actually, if that scenario were to come true, it would depend on how they scored their 34 to assess who is the problem.  If Tennessee scores 34 off of drives of their own, then the offense is not the problem.  If they score 34 and 17 of them come because of turnovers, then the offense is the problem.

Very true.  Let's hope that doesn't happen.

ESPN will be doing a megacast for tomorrow' game. Pretty neat. I may check out the advanced stats feed from time to time, which is the ESPN Plus cast I believe.

Is anyone else a little more optimistic about the Ravens chances, simply because its a Sunday, 1pm game? Played three of these in a row and handled business each time. 8-2 in said games this year. 3-3 in other time/day slots.

Believe me, I've been drinking the Kool-Aid since last Sunday's win in Cincinnati and desperately trying to convince myself that the Ravens will go into Tennessee and roll the Titans with another devastating display of power football.  But the realist in me keeps tapping my shoulder and telling me to step away from the ether.  I sure hope I'm wrong and wind up being the only idiot on here.

TENNESSEE 27; BALTIMORE 20

I’m still not convinced that we can pull this off. And I’m not blaming the players! The Ravens have been out coached in the last two games by Vrabel and his staff.

I like that this game is being played at a "normal" time and I like that we're on the road.

I think the Titans' defense is soft and we're going to exploit that today. Ravens emerge victorious today, 34-24.

That's a very fair and accurate observation.

I'll give you that in last year's divisional round game but in November, we gave that game away. Poorly timed penalties and a key turnover on a bad throw changed that game. Things like that are simply poor execution. If we don't beat ourselves, we roll the f out in them today.
