Former Oriole Wade Miley currently with a no hitter through 7.

Baseball is just giving those away this year I guess.

And he finished it lol

Being a recent Orioles lefty makes you a guarantee to get one, so congrats in advance to Tommy Milone

It all started with David Wells.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

That guy was beyond awful here.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Baseball has serious issues with losing fans over the past decades. Its not going to die in 5 years.

But, youngsters are more into other forms of games, etc.

The fan base is aging off.

A work stoppage, lockout or strike is going to put a serious nail in the coffin. IMO

It's definitely been funny seeing the Dodgers bullpen use Garrett Cleavinger multiple times this year, I can't really say I expected the third part of the Kim/Hellickson trade to be in the bullpen of the defending champions

He pitched the top of the 11th for the Padres-Dodgers SNB game too, so he's definitely getting thrown into the fire quite a bit

4 IP (55 pitches)
2 H
1 R

Gave up a solo shot to Muncy in the 1st. Pretty good result for facing the World Champs.

ARod mentioned earlier that 10 years ago the average fastball was 89 mph. Now it’s 94.

According to FG this year avg fastball is 93.4 and in 2011 is was 91.5. Not sure if that's the best resource, but it's the quickest for me to check. That's still quite a big jump.
