Beautiful curveball, but he's been pretty terrible his entire time in the big leagues.
60 man pool is now full and no 2020 draft picks are on it. Odd.

Nice live arm.
He really did well, considering he was just thrown out there.

He's a real hard one to figure. He definitely has good stuff - a nice power sinking fasball with good movement, good curve, and good changeup. Problem in games I've seen - he occasionally seems to lose concentration throwing a fastball or changeup right over the heart of the plate in batters' happy zone. He'll pitch well, and then ruin his outing by making a few bad pitches. Well, last night, he didn't make those mistake pitches, and he was outstanding. We just might have something good with him, but we don't know, because he hasn't been consistent. I definitely want to see more of him - see how he does in his next 2 starts, because he clearly has the stuff to be successful, and he can eat some innings.

Big start last night. Kind of annoying in a way. He's got real arm talent. Don't think he can be a consistent starter. Still want to see him in the pen.

His mechanics at times are a mess. Even last night, when he was good, he lost his release point at times.

Moved to the IL.
I am not surprised. He rolled that ankle pretty bad.

Really surprised they gave him more than 1M. Hey, good for him.

If a 6+ career ERA gets you $1.5M what the hell am I still doing at my job?

How many runs score before you or I get three guys out? 20? 100?

Keep him in the pen. There is arm talent. He just has no business starting.

And that is different from the current staff how?

A team with a vaguely competent rotation would've moved him to the bullpen much sooner given his 5th inning implosions, I definitely think he can be a legit useful multi-inning reliever or at least someone who showed enough to be given a meaningful chance for it
