There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

I'm not even a big gambler, but this is an absolute joke how long this has taken.

Update as of yesterday the state now expects to have mobile gambling in place by the super bowl. SMH. What a colossal failure of government
Maryland. Sigh. And it doesnt even matter for me because I live 5 min from the PA border but still

You still in Cecil County? At least you can drive to PA and bet.

Jeezus, what the hell is going on back there? Aren't you coming up on the two-year mark for when the vote passed to make it happen?

Looking for recommendations on which app I should download/use. Thanks
Sign up for all of them. They’re all gonna give away awesome promos from the get go and, it’s good to be able to line shop.
If you do only want to use one I suggest keeping open FD and DK as they’re the most popular and have the most people on twitter tracking their promos for EV and what not.
Excited for this!

Lets see, if the voters would allow the lottery, then it would solve all the budget arrears.
Then, it was the mega millions would allow this, and then Keno and thrown in Powerball, and all our of State and local budget woes would disappear.
Then they said, we needed casino and we got that, didnt solve anything.
Then they said, we need power card games, we got that.
Then it was Sports Betting would fix it all.
Does anybody see the common lie through all this?

If the licenses were approved today why can't they get up and running until next Wednesday? These websites/apps are already established.
Kinda like when prohibition ended, everyone cracked open a bottle of booze like right away.
Fun fact from the Yuengling Brewery tour I took once. Beer takes minimum about 3 weeks to make. You couldn’t brew up anything during prohibition, yet all the pictures announcing the end of prohibition have everyone popping bottles.

This is above my pay grade but I would imagine there’s something written in the regulations for some unknown reason. Maryland has botched this just about as badly as possible so what’s another wasted week?

Could they have imported the hooch?

The start of the World Cup is Sunday. I was hoping to get some bets in before that. I guess I can just go over to one of the places near me if I can't wait.
