Not loving it, at least not yet.
Yeah, Stil not there yet for me. It's decent enough, but just not up to their standard, IMO. It's catchy and all, but nothing great. Maybe it'll grow on me. I haven't really explored the lyrics yet either, maybe that would help.

The lyrics are great.
They've actually gotten better as a band, lyrically.

I think lyrically they've been better with each album. The site I use for lyrics doesn't have this song yet, but I'll look elsewhere I guess. I can't really tell exactly everything they're saying, so I was hoping they had a good theme that might grab me. As it is, I have no idea what they're talking about, haha.

Maybe it will grow on me, but my initial reaction was 'meh'.

David Fricke review:
The way Butler and Chassagne, who are married, sing those lines in "Reflektor" is a sublime moment in the commotion. It is also a perfect summary of their group's still-fervent indie-born hunger after a decade of mainstream success, and specifically, the decisive, indulgent ambition on Reflektor: a two-record, 75-minute set of 13 songs and the best album Arcade Fire have ever made.

Very glowing review. I can't wait for the album to drop. One more month.

Man am I excited for this!
As for the single, I love it. It's like the greatest Talking Heads song you never heard, which is fine by me.

As I've said several times, each Arcade Fire album, has, in my opinion, been better than the last. So I'm not shocked that this one is being called their best.

Nice review, but Arcade Fire certainly has not had a decade plus of mainstream success. There aren't a lot of people I know (other than on here) that even know of or like Arcade Fire... because people are stupid, of course.

They're probably as close as you can get to mainstream without being mainstream.

Which is fine by me. Mainstream is for the birds.

Shit, I missed that they were doing an after show thing. I saw their two songs during the show though, and it was pretty awesome.

I fell asleep in the last 5-10 minutes of their after show, but that was really cool to see. Felt new and refreshing in a way you don't get with music much these days. Some great hooks sprinkled in throughout.
