Well... that was fun. 

I had a long ass day and week... was hoping MD would pull the upset.  

Was definitely expecting a competitive game at the minimum. 

Horrible.

I took Penn State to be up by 4 points at half....CHECK

 

I also took the over thinking Maryland would score 24 points...praying Penn State can score 60+ on their own.

Put it this way, there are back-to-back Top 30 recruiting classes in their 2nd and 3rd seasons with the program, several talented players from surrounding classes, and several transfers that have proven they can play at the Power 5 level. Maryland isn't realistically going to get much more talent than they have right now.

I get that. But that isn’t talent. This is gap between elite talent and top 30 talent. It shouldn’t be this bad. But it’s not surprising either.

Teams like Iowa and Wisconsin don't really recruit much better than MD has recently, but you almost never see this kind of crap when they go against the Ohio States and Penn States. They even beat those teams sometimes. So clearly something else must be at play here.
