But I don’t think wawa is great either...it’s just a quick, convenient way to get something to eat.
RoFo is the shit.

It's not like the ingredients are better or different and the consumer has a ton of control of what ingredients go on the sandwich. But Wawa is way cooler than Subway so there's that.
To be clear, I'm not a big Subway fan. It's fine, just like Wawa. To act like either are amazing seems odd to me.
So why is a steak at Chicago Cut better than at Sizzler? It’s the same ingredients right? Beef and seasoning

But they are. They taste better.
Doesn't mean Wawa's amazing. Means it's better. The White Sox are better than the Orioles; doesn't make them the best team in baseball.

I've never had a steak at either. So why is a steak at Chicago Cut better than at Sizzler? It’s the same ingredients right? Beef and seasoning
But different ingredients and preparation would likely be the answer.
I don't think Wawa differentiates itself much, if at all from other sub chains in this respect. I think many of the people I'm talking about would refer to Wawa as amazing if their subs were the same as Subway, Quiznos, Jimmy John's, Jersey Mike's, etc. So in other words, nothing to go crazy over, and from my experience, a lot of people go crazy over Wawa.

That's like an opinion. Just like mine.
Both are basic.

I think it's the "quality food from a gas station" surprise thing. Same as RoFo, and Sheetz, and the like. Hell, even High's seems to be trying to push that now.

Yeah, I think that's right, but I think these places are overrated by those that act like they're amazing due to that, and there seems to be many of them. They aren't even all that convenient unless you're getting gas, and even then generally not much more convenient if at all to places with comparable food.

Hot take: The Who > Led Zeppelin
Well you are doing a good job of trolling me. This is like comparing Sizzler steak to Ruth Chris or whatever.

Subway is my least favorite place to ever get stuck eating.
I ate their yesterday.
It’s cheap and easy and close to work and you don’t wanna go into the fetal position after eating it like other fast food.

The meats at Subway are too gross for me to consume it anymore. It's like the $1.00/lb crap at the Walmart deli that's slimy and mostly water; it's not fit for human consumption.

I was meaning to ask this when you said your 80s album top ten needs updating. The music hasn’t changed. Why does it need updating? If you like Zeppelin more, did The Who put out better music than Zeppelin has post-2009 that we didn’t know about?
