As glad as I was to see Evansville pull that off, it's super annoying that Duke will climb to number 1 again, just like that. Sick of it.

Love that VCU has a clause in every head coach contract where if they leave, they have to play a road game at VCU.

And btw, you should be more annoyed that Mich St is getting so much love since, you know, you actually play them and are in their conference.

Even more pissed off this season that Maryland left....Duke/Louisville/Maryland/Carolina/Virginia are all Top 10 teams and this ACC would be beyond epic this year, and we could go see these teams battle it out.
Dammit.

Ugh, stop it Seth. I get more depressed about that every year, regardless of how good MD is. I miss it a LOT.
Them being so good makes it so much worse to me, but I'd imagine how much the fans miss it regardless.
sucks.

Lol..well maybe MD should do a better job of paying for their players?
Time to step up those booster paychecks!

I don't. At this point I have some actual 'feelings' about the other Big Ten teams.
Guess that's not accurate. I do miss what the ACC was.

Too busy paying old coaches no longer on campus. This, while Kevin Plank's company is being investigated for tax fraud. Fun times in College Park. MD basketball is the only thing going there. And even then, there's tempered expectations because to this point, Turgeon hasn't shown he's capable of taking this team to the promise land.Lol..well maybe MD should do a better job of paying for their players?
Time to step up those booster paychecks!

I miss that knot in my stomach leading up to a Duke or UNC game. The battles every week against the entire conference, that I believe made the former Terps teams more ready for March. I have some actual feelings about some Big Ten teams but they don't and will never come close to approaching those of the ACC rivals. That's just me though. I've moved on, but I miss it a lot.

I feel it for Michigan State in basketball. There are others (Ohio State, Michigan, Purdue, Indiana, Wisconsin) I look forward to seeing... but admittedly don't feel like I felt prior to Duke / UNC. But I feel every bit about those games as I did about UVA, FSU, NCST, Wake.

It’s obviously a non starter when talking football.

I still wonder how many MD fans care about the “rivalries” in the Big Ten.

Doesn't happen over night. Have to be games that matter over time.

True but it’s been long enough to start to care and while I know some of you do, I bet most don’t.

Somewhat fair, but again, have to be games that matter. Basketball hasn't had enough of those.
