Duke draws the ratings...and they won’t have themIt's just these 4 teams, it's been going on for about 10 years now.
And UNC in this, so Duke “wins”.
No one cares about UCLA and they have been shit for much of the time this has gone on.

Duke forced 28 Kansas turnovers. That's why they won. Good, but ugly game.
Very ugly game.
Both teams turned it over a lot. Both teams missed a boat load of free throws. Kansas shot it a little better.
Still, nice win for Duke. The talent is there for sure but that team is a work in progress for sure.

I was thinking today... in Joe Smith / Keith Booth's Freshman year, their first game was against Georgetown the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 26th). While the fan in me is enjoying seeing live games tonight Nov. 5th... maybe a few extra weeks of practice would be helpful?
(I'm guessing that the start of the practice schedule has also moved up, so maybe there is no real difference. And of course most of these current players have played extensively on the AAU circuit, playing more games, and being exposed to more than the Freshman of 25+ years ago.)

Late 1st, Kentucky up 9 on Michigan State.
Low scoring first half. Sparty will improve over the year as they always do with Izzo. Particularly with Langford when he gets back.
That said, they feel like a typical Michigan State team. Physical, play hard. A couple of real good athletes / players... and a host of role players.
Sure they'll end up as a 1 or 2 seed, and another deep March run....
But while I see a tough game for anyone, I don't see a team imo that just walks on the floor and overwhelms you with their talent.

Wiseman declared ineligible for the whole year. Potential #1 pick.
He’s playing tonight

Ballin said the NCAA believes Penny Hardaway -- the second-year Memphis coach who coached Wiseman in high school -- helped finance Wiseman and his family's move to Memphis when he was in high school.
