Baltimore Sun: Houston transfer QB D’Eriq King to visit Maryland this weekend, according to source
King never made it to campus today. Not sure if the visit will be re-scheduled or not. Jalen Hurts was sitting court-side with Locksley at the basketball game earlier.

Ebony Jackson, one of MD's RB commits who did not sign last month, visited Arkansas today and two 24x7 writers think he'll end up flipping there. Word is Jackson has had difficulty getting admitted (he was originally expected to be both an early signee and enrollee at UM) and might even end up having to do a semester at prep school or go JUCO.

King is headed to Miami, will start classes there on Tuesday.

4-star Baltimore DE Demon Clowney (Jadeveon's brother) commits to Ole Miss. Maryland had hoped to be in the running, but DJ Durkin's presence at Ole Miss seemed to seal the deal. Anyone who thinks he still can't recruit would be sorely mistaken.

Former Michigan RB Jordan Castleberry is transferring to Maryland and will be eligible immediately. He joined the Wolverines as a preferred walk-on before the 2019 season. Good depth addition following Harrison III's retirement and the uncertain status of Fleet-Davis and Funk.

I read somewhere Osita Smith was expected to be on campus today as an early enrollee, but 247 shows him as unsigned (though still committed). Is it possible both are correct?

He could definitely sign and enroll anytime before classes begin on Monday, but I'd think he would've done that by now if he was going to enroll early. It's possible that he's signed and 247 hasn't updated their page, but that seems unlikely. There could have been some sort of hiccup with his academics, but as far as I know there aren't any Ebony Jackson-esque concerns.
EDIT: I see PressBox said Smith was expected to enroll early in an article posted about a month ago. I guess we'll see.

3-star JuCo OT Amelio Moran commits to Maryland. He's originally from Virginia Beach and spent a year at James Madison before transferring to Lackawanna Community College in Pennsylvania. He chose Maryland over offers from East Carolina, Indiana, Texas Tech, and West Virginia, among others.

RB Peny Boone has been upgraded to a 4-star recruit by 247Sports, joining WR Rakim Jarrett and LB Ruben Hyppolite II as the team's blue-chip members of the 2020 recruiting class.

3-star JuCo DT Almosse Titi commits to Maryland. He spent the last two years at Iowa Western Community College, and chose Maryland over offers from Arizona, Arkansas State, Southern Miss, and USF, among others.

Not quite as bad as Cash Considerations though. That poor guy has been traded so many times he should have a NYSE listing.

– 3-star JuCo OT Kobe Rios (Council Bluffs, IA)
Butler committed to Auburn last week. Horace, Gipson, and Rios remain the team's top targets. Gipson and Rios are the more likely guys to land, sounds like Horace may be staying closer to home.
They're also trying to flip 3-star OT Coleon Smith, an Indiana commit.
