Not without a true statewide football playoff, Gooch. Especially if D.C.’s Gonzaga Eagles win the WCAC. There’s not a chance in hell that a team from the District would be declared Maryland or Virginia state champion.
who cares but you it’s Bush league anyway we all know the true DMV champ comes from the WCAC
JV Championship

It would be sad if $1million a year couldn’t get you ranked in top 5. Paying full tuition for 40 plus players. Shiiiit. If CHC did that they be number 5 too.

That game is the biggest joke. Team they played last year sucked
SFA is ranked #5 in country will be playing on ESPN in a bowl game. The MIAA teams gave SFA the easiest road to high national rankings ever. Every knock is a boost. For 2nd year in a row SFA ranked higher than St John's

Guru they will never stick to the facts it's always some made up nonsense. The fact is that numbers don't lie.Don’t mention the “minority” players or their parents. They didn’t make the decision that caused this BS. It was the predominantly “majority” coaches, athletic directors and presidents that had final say. They are the cowards. If you’d have given the players and their parents the final say, the “cowardly” Catholic schools would have played SFA and competed very well despite the final outcome.
Btw, is it true that Gilman, in their heyday beat MIAA teams by a higher margin of victory than SFA did in 2017? If so, those coaches, administrators and presidents never called for Gilman and their partner in crime, McDonogh, to leave the league!
A simple proposal would have been to have the Maryland Department of Education, along with the MIAA board and member schools’ leadership verify the age of each player league wide by certified birth certificates prior to the start of the 2018 HS football season. Any MIAA players players turning 19 before August 1st (start of summer practice) could have been disqualified from playing varsity. In addition, any players turning 17 before August 1st could have been disqualified from playing JV.
Residency of players shouldn’t have been factored in due to Gilman & McDonogh providing room & board to student athletes, including football players, in the past. Strong and proactive MIAA leadership could have avoided last summer’s cluster%&#! and this Message Board could have been spared of all this unnecessary bickering.
JUST WENT THROUGH THE NUMBERS OF THE GILMAN TEAMS FROM 2010-2015 AND ST. FRANCES NUMBERS FROM THE LAST 2 YEARS. AGAIN I HAVE THE LAST 6 YEARS WITH THIS STAFF AT GILMAN AND THEIR 1ST TWO SEASONS AT ST FRANCES.
BY THE NUMBERS, GILMAN WENT 30-3 VS THE MIAA A CONFERENCE FROM 2010-2015 (DID NOT INCLUDE POSSIBLE PLAYOFF GAMES) ONLY LOSES WERE TO CALVERT HALL 2010 AND MCDONOUGH TWICE 2013 & 2014. ST. FRANCES IS 14-0 IN 2 SEASONS IN THE MIAA A CONFERENCE.
POINTS PER GAME PER OPPONENT
GILMAN 30.5 VS CALVERT HALL 13
GILMAN 46 VS LOYOLA 6
GILMAN 46 VS SPAULDING 15
GILMAN 42 VS MSJ 11.5
GILMAN 29 VS McD 21
GILMAN 46 VS SFA 14
SFA 21 VS CALVERT HALL 3.5
SFA 46.5 VS LOYOLA 13
SFA 37 VS SPAULDING 18
SFA 35.5 VS MSJ 21
SFA 37 VS McD 9
SFA 40 VS GILMAN 6
SFA IS SCORING LESS THAN GILMAN DID AGAINST CALVERT HALL, SPAULDING AND MSJ
SFA IS GIVING UP MORE POINTS THAN GILMAN DID AGAINST LOYOLA, SPAULDING AND MSJ
WHERE WAS ALL THE OUTCRY OVER THOSE 6 YEARS. IJS

The thing you're forgetting is that your daddy wants to be MNC and couldn't do that at Gilman unless he did what he did, which is why he and his admission partner got the boot.
2010 Gilman lost to CHC MIAA Champ
2011 Gilman MIAA champ beat CHC by 2 but lost to GC
2012 Gilman MIAA champ lost to GC
2013 Gliman smashed by Manatee, PC, and MIAA champ Mcdonogh
2014 Shared MIAA champ lost to St. E, PC, and McDonogh MIAA champ
2015 MIAA champ beat McDonogh by 7 lost to St. E
I don't understand why you're so proud about beating the MIAA. When schools stepped and had half the squad you guys did your horrible coaching showed. And then when you went National you got smoked, so you guys got busted and bolted to were you have no restrictions. Crappy coaching almost had you guys lose to Loyola and MSJ now.
So who's gonna be in the MIAA the team you coach or the Varsity team, please tell?

I love the bent comparisons to Gilman. It’s very clear to everyone except you. Everyone always knew they were going to get outrecruited by Gilman because the old Gilman administration allowed Biff to bring in large numbers of stud 8th graders with his own money. No other MIAA team could or was willing to spend that type of money. Then Gilman coaches had better athletes and players to work with. It’s tough pill to swallow but no violations in providing a shat ton of money for 8th graders. Hence, the SFA difference. You aren’t developing stud 8th graders. You are sneaking behind other coaches backs to induce high school kids to leave their current programs. See the difference that everyone sees including the MIAA coaches administrators and even the money bought lazy useless MIAA board (eventually but way to late). If you want everyone to recognize your a great football team we can do that. But let’s not act like you got that way from superior coaching. Please. You bought your athletes and players.
Also...the year before and during Biff’s departure...the Catholic teams in the A and some in the B were thinking of starting a BCL tourney for football. That was all in the works. Once G and McD got word of it...the heat increased on Biff because folks were not tired of G’s dominance, but the money and the poor relationship between the staffs. Biff has never cared about the fact that coaches and players want to be in the league as competitors but also colleagues. Coaching staffs genuinely like each other, which means they want screw each other over...excited one staff.
