Can never have enough solid BP arms. Hopefully he's healthy again and ready to go. Definitely sounded like TJS was in his future last season.

A lot of mystery of what was wrong with Tate last year. He's not a dominant back end guy, but he's a very solid middle guy. Hopefully he's healthy.

Forearm/elbow injuries that take an entire season to heal are always ticking time bombs.

If healthy Tate would be a nice addition to the BP.  He was missed last year, especially in the playoffs.

Hasn't been completely terrible, but the stuff hasn't looked good and he's been handled with baby gloves.

I think what got Tate was the need for length in the pen, and the fact he has thrown back to back games.  He is not back where he was but has gotten better with each outing.  

He is 1-0, 2.84 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP.  I do agree he has been handled carefully.
