Two homeruns tonight, four in his last four games.
Nice to see him surge as we get to the middle of the season.

Nice day!
First Major League HR today.
I think he'll have a decent career as a mostly 4th OFer. He could do that for a decade.

Optioned to make room for Mountcastle.
I would rather have Mckenna that Stewart.

Big time agree.
DJ in right field makes Mark Trumbo look good.

I'd rather not have McKenna or Stewart. But since we have to pick one for sure McKenna. He an at least have some value defensively. Neither one of them are ML level players.

Is Stewart out of options?

I'd rather have McKenna too.
Is Stewart out of options?
According to fangraphs Stewart has one. I can't believe he will still be pre-arb this winter, I feel like he's been here forever, but he's barely played a season of games. Since he'll be cheap he may still be around to start next year, especially if they trade Santander. No one is exactly knocking down the door in Norfolk (Still not Diaz, but at some point they have to try him right? Neustrom?) and if they're going to spend any money I'd hope P and IF are higher priority.

Here's a bold prediction. As long as Stewart is on the O's they will not be any good. No offense to DJ but I just don't see him having a role on a competitive team. He doesn't hit near well enough to be pinch hitter and he can't play in the field.
