Hey, it's and international signee. Someone elses, but still.
He's also a former rule 5 pick, so that really got the O's interested.
Whatever. Play the kids. I'm more interested to this than Cashner TBH.

Yea, what does it matter, let the kid pitch.
I imagine he will be up today and back down tomorrow.

Yep. Lets get a look at him.

Why isn't Sisco a prospect that brings hope for the future? He's a pretty rock solid prospect.
Who knows if he ends up making it, or sticking at catcher if the bat plays, but if he's not a level of prospect that registers for you then only the top-20 type guys ever will. Anyone from mid-20s to mid-70s is basically the same.

Does anybody remember how bad Markakis sucked in his first half season? Even great prospects sometimes need time to figure it out.

People are overreacting on Sisco, who needed varying time at each level to adjust, but once he did was super productive. I think he's going to be really good.
“We have a shot at a wild card right now. But it is not a probability that we're going to win a wild card.” -2022 Trade Deadline
"It's liftoff from here" - after selling on 2022
"We're on a slight upward arc" - Winter Meetings 2022
"I think it's really hard to sit there and chart a course and say, 'We're likely to win the division.'" - Winter Meetings 2022

Don't agree on Sean's take on Sisco.... also think there is talent within the system which can help.... do agree with the general sentiment there is not enough.... and that's certainly highly impacted by the punting on International talent.

Might have something here. Way better than Hess.

I watched a little bit of the replay yesterday and he looked pretty good.
We were saying the same thing about Hess a month ago, so let's see how the league adjusts and he adjusts back.
I would imagine Yefri, stays and starts next Monday against the Yankees. I think Hess goes down tomorrow when Bundy returns.

They should be riding it out with El Yefe. Maybe he's a flash in the pan, but he was getting up to the mid-90s on the stadium gun yesterday, and no-hit a pretty good team into the fifth. This is the time to give him starts.

He seems to be able to paint his fastball pretty well over 4 quadrants with what looks like good movement and some deception in his delivery. Changeup looks plus and he isn't shy throwing it. The slider looks good but he doesn't appear to have very good command with it. Stuff seems head and shoulders above Hess. I agree with having a good look at him the rest of the season. Hess and hopefully a few others as well. Maybe just shelve Cobb until next year, give Bundy/Gausman more rest and let some of these young guys pitch regularly in the second half.

Get Cashner's neck straightened out and move him.Hey, it's and international signee. Someone elses, but still.
