I've felt for a while now that LeBron will sign with the Lakers, but now that they've signed Joel Berry to an undrafted Free Agent contract, I think LeBron is a Lock to be a Laker!

Hopefully he goes to the West and makes the NBA slightly more interesting.

Btw, LOL at OKC for being willing to go way into the tax now to be a pretty good playoff team, but not when they had a legit chance at winning titles.

This is definitely true. LeBron really likes him. https://t.co/3HiWBOwDfD

DeMarcus Cousins sounds like an increasingly likely target for the Lakers on a short-term max contract now that it appears Los Angeles will lose out on Paul George, per league sources. In January 2017, LeBron James called Cousins "the best big man in our game."

Gets the max salary, but gives up the 5th year.

Sounds like Dallas is going after Deandre Jordan. Nevermind what happened last time, that sounds like a dumb deal for Dallas right now. Jordan will be 30 this season, and probably too old by the time Smith Jr and Doncic are ready to compete in the West....they need to play the long game.
I'd be on board if the Mavs tried to sign Capela to an offer sheet. Houston would probably match, but the Rockets would be in luxury tax hell for years, and it would eventually get pretty painful. Especially if they can't catch Golden State.

The Mavs are only signing Jordan for 1 year.
That makes much more sense from Dallas' perspective, but little sense for DJ to walk away from a $24 million option to sign a 1-year deal with a team that has no hope of contending.

Well it's not like the Clippers were going to do much next year either. Besides, they didn't want DJ anymore anyway.
