Stockton seemed to spend a lot of time with his kids after playing. He was always at his sons games. Good for him.

I think Nash has his hands full. It seems like Kyrie and to a lesser extent KD, thinjk they are going to call the shots a lot like LBJ does in LA.

Very possible. That’s on ownership though.

I looked at the all time assists per game guys and almost all of them have either been head coaches or are currently candidates too. It’s interesting. Guys like Kevin Johnson, Mark Jackson. Definitely a correlation there. Magic went straight to ownership but he and Stock are 1 and 2 and probably would have been great.

Though that's working out for Lebron right this moment.

The news to start the day was how Kyrie was already imploding. Don't see this ending well.

It won’t end well

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Hope they traded 14 basketballs with him, cause they'll need them all on the court at the same time for the 3 of them to co-exist.

I'm salty Allen got traded in this deal. He's exactly who my poor Wiz need right now.

Unless they can move Kyrie, I don't see how him and Harden on the same team works. I for sure don't envy Steve Nash right now.

He's on a team with Drummond, he's gotta still be available, no?

Or Drummond is available.

Allen is a great pickup for Cleveland for the cost they paid.

They seem to bring a very duplicative skill set to the team though. In a spot where you can't really have two of them together all that often, I'd think. So yeah, one of them should be.

I'd take either...would prefer Allen though.

They desperately need some rebounding and defense.

They certainly could flip one of them this year and it would make sense to do so, buy they ain't winning it all this year either so this could be more about looking forward with adding Allen to SexLand and their other young players.

I watched parts of the game against the Wizards on Sunday.  They must have figured it out between then and now, because they were not good.  They must be quick studies. :-P
