This and other contracts are making me rethink picking up Bateman's option.  He's done zero so far in his career, but $14M doesn't buy you a lot at WR.  He wouldn't need to pop very much for the option to become preferable or at the very least, a deal we can get out of if we decide he's not worth the squeeze.

Yeah, I think it's an easy call.
You drafted him high, you believe in the talent.
If he's gone, the cost to replace with equal talent wont be any cheaper.
Obviously still hoping for health and a breakout.. but I'd be good with a deal now before that happens.


Interesting move for the Titans.
Thought he would be back with Jacksonville.
