Another case of the new development team putting guys at low levels.  At least they are consistent, it's good to have a plan.  We'll see if it works out.

 

Peralta played a full season at Delmarva in 2016 before moving to Frederick in '17 and '18.  He really struggled both years at Frederick and has dealt with injuries frequently.  So getting him off to a confident start by demoting him to Delmarva isn't insane, but at 22 he's on the old side for any prospects at that level, especially before college draftees are added later in the season.  I'd definitely like to see him moved up to Frederick soon, though that may require some other guys moving up to Bowie first (Sedlock and/or Baumann) and so forth to create room.

I wonder if they’re being the most conservative with the guys that they're working with the most analytically. They might see the value of accumulating starts/innings with new data over making sure they’re on the right level path. They can always catch them up in the second half as the dominos fall after the draft.
