Tony Jefferson was an UDFA.
Gotta respect the hell out of a player who was an UDFA and worked hard to become one of the better players at his position.
Bit of a 1 year wonder though. Have to hope that he still will want to get better and that he keeps up the effort after getting this deal.

Flacco trying to not overthrow a 5'7 guy will be fun to watch. Or not.
Flacco is going to throw for 4,500 yds next year. 4 yards at a time

It did cross my mind that Woodhead and his skill set may not be the best for Joe but he does like his checkdowns. lol
That being said, if he is healthy, Woodhead does pose match up issues and if the Ravens use him well, he could provide some value to the ravens and make some plays for them, especially on third downs.
Have to use him properly though.

Interesting that they are saying he is good at blitz pick up.
always important in third down.

Yeah, Webb has to be gone.
That's going to be an interesting question. If Webb wants to start, he'll likely not agree to stay for less. But, I wonder if they could carve a spot for him in nickel and dime to get him to stay around - obviously, at a lesser salary.
Or, it may be one of those, we'll release you, but if you don't find anything better by May/June, we'll entertain bringing you back.
This is what I'm hoping...Webb takes a pay cut (either up front or by eventually coming back at a lesser number) and still has something left as a nickel corner.

Joe is gonna throw 800 times next year.
They better do something about that line.

Nah. Operating from the shotgun 95% of the time will buy him an extra second.

Interesting to see if they replace Zuttah. I suspect they plan to kick Lewis out to RT. I thought he played better at T than G. If they kick him out they're looking for help on the interior which shouldn't be quite as hard to find as Tackle. Whether that be in FA or middle of the draft

Woodhead is interesting. My guess is FO views him as Juice replacement. Obviously not as a FB, but as 3rd down back which is what Juice did a lot of.
Still hoping they can find a pass rusher. Either bring back Dumervil for cheap or some other option. Pass rush has to improve for the defense to get back to where we want it.

There it is. I'm just coming back from a late dinner and after seeing the news I wanted to get the PFT take.

Love the Jefferson signing. Got younger and more athletic in the secondary. Get a mid-tier CB type late in FA and our secondary is looking pretty strong.
Now, go get a interior lineman (Leary, Mangold, Tretter), get Chris Baker and I'm a happy camper in FA.
As for the Flacco to Woodhead comments in passing, it's almost like we forgot that Joe's best years were when he had an outlet in Rice that was small but could make hay on check downs. I really like the move. And thought we could get a better pass catcher than Juice as a trade off for his blocking which was good not great.

Yup, sure up the interior of the line, get some more pass rush and add whatever dynamic guy you can get in the first round and I'm thrilled the offseason.
My priorities were Jefferson, Tretter, Baker. So I'll stick with that for now .
Also, if Webb will take a pay cut and stay and play the dime role that Levine was supposed to be more of last year, I'd be happy with that
