Browns hopeful Mayfield's torn labrum won't require season ending surgery, and if he practices today, will play Thursday.

I think Stefanski is an offensive mastermind. But their line is banged up now, and they just lost Hunt and Chubb as well as Landrey, and OBJ may have gotten a little banged up Sunday too. So he's running out of weapons. If most of the team is healthy around Keenum, I think Stefanski could manage, but probably not with all these injuries.

Mayfield looked like crap Sunday even before the re-injury.

I have a friend who is a lifelong Browns fan.  He called me this morning, telling me how lucky the Ravens are, because of all the injuries the Clowns have.

After I got done laughing, I told him to check the Ravens injured reserve list.

 

PArt of me wonders if they are better off without Mayfield.  He is so hot and cold.  Going on the IR would allow him time to do more commercials.

Theyll have to re-up him but man will that make you sweat. He is capable of being good enough to win a SB. He is also annoyingly inconsistent and can be flat out bad at times. Flacco like in that way.

I know this is a different Browns organization than years past, but one only needs to find that picture of the jersey with all the starting QBs.  Mayfield is much better than any of them.

Watching the Cleveland/Arizona game last week, my wife was kind of cheering on Cleveland as they tried to come back from the huge deficit.  I had to explain my feelings of never wanting the Browns to succeed.

The schedule situation with our games with them was always annoying. Definitely wouldn't mind if they're fading at that point.

Wouldn’t surprise me either way. Denver’s 3-0 start was pretty fraudulent considering the opponents. Browns are gonna Brown. It’s in their DNA.
