The Rockets being 0-3 isn't as big a deal as the fact they were blown out in all 3 of those losses.

EDIT: They got in the win column vs OKC. Reports of their early demise are greatly exaggerated.

The Spurs beat the Knicks tonight, 94-84. Noteworthy stat from the game is that it was Tim Duncan's 954th win as a Spur, breaking John Stockton's NBA record for most wins with one team.

25 and 29 for Drummond tonight. He's a beast.

New Orleans dropped to 0-4 tonight. According to ESPN, in the previous 10 seasons 11 teams started 0-4, and only one made the playoffs (Dallas 2006-07).

Another solid night for Okafor.

He is averaging 20 ppg, shooting 51% and is 13-16 from the FT line.

Rebounding isn't that great though. He is playing 32 minutes a night and only getting 6 boards a night. That has to get better. He needs to show better effort there but it also speaks to some of his lack of athleticism.

GS vs LAC is on.

These 2, along with OKC and SA are just ridiculous.

I know the West has other good teams too but those 4 are on a higher level IMO.

Just got back from the Bullets/Spurs game. Unreal game with a great ending. Beal is emerging as a superstar.

Beal is a beast.

I thought he would be the best player in his draft...well, that was wrong because Anthony Davis is a monster but Beal is going to be a perennial AS IMO.

He has to stay healthy though.

Yup. I shudder every time he or Wall hits the deck. They're both being more aggressive attacking this year, which is good, but they're also both prone to drawing contact from much bigger players doing that.

The Clippers improving their bench is important for them.

I still think they will be the 4th team in the big 4 but they can still get hot and go on a big run in the playoffs.

They're hideous.  They look like HCYP teams out there with them on, except with far less white and korean people.

Is it just me or does it seem like there is a larger collection of potentially great teams this year than normal?

It all depends if some of the Eastern conference teams can step up. We knew all these West teams would be good, it's just a matter of the East finally playing it's part. Is Toronto this good? Atlanta? The Bullets? We will have to wait and see.

Charles is so repetitive as an analyst at the game rather than in studio.

Eh, I think it's pretty similar to the past few years. What teams have elevated into that potentially great category?
