Sports Illustrated: EA Sports Announces Return of College Football Video Game

EA Sports announced it will bring back its popular NCAA Football video game at some point in the near future.

 

The last NCAA Football video game was released in 2014.

 

Over 100 FBS schools will appear in the latest EA Sports college football game, per Rothstein.

 

EA Sports is currently planning to use rosters without the name, image or likeness of real players in accordance with current NCAA rules.

Really curious if the 100 schools will all be the power five or we'll learn they couldn't strike a deal with the Big Ten but we'll have the Sun Belt and Mountain West to compensate

MLB the Show announced Tatis as the cover on the next version and it’ll be on Xbox for the first time.

Looking forward to see what they’re able to do with the new generation of systems.

Red Dead 2 was on sale for 26 bucks on XBOX Live, so I caved and downloaded it yesterday.  Haven't played a new game in forever but I've had my eye on this one for a while.

Oh man. I took the dive a few months ago. I'm pacing myself so still early on. Savor it. A masterpiece.

Obvious graphical and framerate changes but I dont expect them to have many gameplay changes for a few years. It usually takes a few years for developers to hit their stride on new consoles.


Also sucks this year's version doesnt come out til mid April.

You’d think they would fix that glitch that when you run to a spot to catch a fly ball and let off the control when you get to the spot at the same time as the ball, the player would you know, put his glove up, instead of turn square to the infield. Had so many games ruined because of that.

Instead they just work on more stuff they want you purchase in game.

This seems incredibly cynical for a feature that's been requested in baseball video games for about as long as I've been on the internet

Now that MLB the Show is on XBox Im at least entertaining the thought of going XBox next generation. Probably will stay with Playstation but Game Pass is a huge value for XBox customers

Underewhelming. Clemente won't play particularly well in DD. They need Bonds, Arod, Pedro, Randy Johnson, Clemens to get me super excited. Particularly Johnson or Pedro. With the new pitching mechanic Im really hoping 1 or both is in.
