Pitching was bad on Friday night and the bats never came together today. It happens in these quick tournaments. They were operating on very little sleep today after last night’s game ended after 2:00AM.So what happened Zack? Excuse my ignorance. Injuries? Pitching just has an off day? Did catch them a couple times during the regular season but didn’t follow too closely.
Hopefully they got it out of their system and enter next weekend ready to roll. Their offense is good enough to beat anyone in the country.

Single-session tickets will be on sale Tuesday for Friday-Sunday games. Weather looks perfect, low 80s and sunny.

Link?
I assume they'll be sold through Maryland's ticket website.
Here's where they released all the information: https://umterps.com/...r-regional.aspx

Maryland is officially the #15 seed in the NCAA Tournament, which is likely lower than they should've been.
They'll face Long Island first, with UConn and Wake Forest also in their double-elimination bracket.
Their Super Regional opponent would be the winner of Stanford's Regional, which also includes Texas State, UC Santa Barbara, and Binghamton.

One of the ESPN commentators mentioned that Maryland is expected to be adding as much seating as possible to their stadium for this regional. Will be interesting to see where they add bleachers, and how many.

So if I understand this, you pay $60 and get basically general admission to any game Fri-Sun?
When does the schedule come out?

Correct, and there’s an option to purchase $12 single-session tickets as well.So if I understand this, you pay $60 and get basically general admission to any game Fri-Sun?

Not sure about the full schedule, but Maryland is set to open up against Long Island on Friday at 7:00 PM.

Thanks for all this info. I’ll prolly just do the $60 general ticket and go Friday. Is it a best of 3 series?

The CWS is one of my favorite times of the year.
I think for Maryland to maintain the success of their baseball program at the national level, they'll need to upgrade the stadium so that it can seat around 3x more than the current 2500 base. 2500 is also-ran size for seating capacity.
This is one of those things that selling out for the big bucks of the Big Ten was all about, right?

How much revenue does, say, LSU baseball generate? Did a quick Google search here and looks like they generated $6.39M in 2017.
I’m pretty sure Maryland Baseball doesn’t come close to selling out their games, so expanding the stadium while the baseball program is operating at a significant deficit as is, seems pointless. It won’t draw fans. But there is revenue to be made in that sport, so I could see wanting to invest to close that gap. Not that they’ve got LSU upside, but they can do a lot better than $129K.
