Terps rebounded this weekend with 3 straight wins after a rough start to their season. They beat #6 N.C. State, Notre Dame, and Dayton. 6 home games this week, 2 mid-week games and a weekend series vs. Bryant.

After winning 8 games in a row, the Terps lost to #11 UNC on Tuesday. 3-game home set against Princeton this weekend.

The Terps made it into the NCAA Tournament this year, but were eliminated today in the first round of regional play. They finish the year with a record of 38-23 (15-9 Big Ten), including a 20-3 record at home.

Terps HC John Szefc has accepted the head coaching job at Virginia Tech. Huge blow for the Terps, and an oddly lateral move.

I realize no one is paying attention for the most part, but the NCAA Baseball Tournament has been 100 times better than the NBA Playoffs. (Overall, the last two NBA games notwithstanding)

Maryland RHP Brian Shaffer was taken by Arizona in the 6th round yesterday afternoon. So far, they have been the only Terps drafted.

Terps hire Rob Vaughn as their new head coach. Smart move to keep things in house, as Vaughn has been on Szefc's staff since 2012.

I really hope at least one person on here is watching Game 1 of the CWS finals. Terrific game, Florida leads 4-3 as we head to the ninth.
